2014 PCA&D Senior Show & Celebration | Shifting Paradigms
April 4, 2014
Join PCA&D in congratulating the Class of 2014 at the annual Senior Show & Celebration on Friday May 2nd from 5-8:00pm. All of the seniors work with the faculty to prepare for an extensive installation that provides deep insight into the process of art exhibition. The entire college, including the main gallery and classrooms, transforms to display the work of individually crafted thesis projects representing various techniques, media and subject matter. The opening is a major event for the students, providing them opportunity to network and make strong connections, as well as for the college and the community as it's the largest one day gallery event by a single organization.
The Senior Show & Celebration is free and open to the public so you can experience PCA&D's promise: our graduates are strong thinkers, strong makers, and strong communicators, and they are truly prepared for a life in art.
Last night, PCA&D hosted a dedication of the all-new Steinman Lofts on West King. (And on Friday, twenty-five of our incoming freshmen will move in.) See more about the dedication and Lofts project in today’s Lancaster Newspapers. http://bit.ly/1BD6A29
This print by PCA&D alumna Amy Boone McCreesh ‘07 is part of “Print Invitational,” which opens in our Main Gallery on Thursday, August 21 from 5 - 8 p.m. The exhibit is in honor of David Snyder, a co-founder of the college and long-time faculty member who passed away this past year.
